Product Description

Marta Deluxe Gran Reserva Brut Nature 2010 is a high-end Cava produced by the Canals Canals winery from vines located in the heart of Penedès.

This Catalan sparkling wine is made from the traditional Cava blend. The grapes come from over 40-year-old vines planted in limestone soils with very low levels of organic matter. Climate is purely Mediterranean.

Made from 40% Parellada, 40% Xarel.lo and 20% Macabeo, the grapes were harvested by hand and only the "free-run" juice was used to produce the wine.

Once the vinification process was completed, the wine was aged for a minimum of 36 months.

This Cava has a very limited production. All of the bottles are numbered.

We suggest that you open the bottle 15-30 minutes before you drink it.

Additional Information
Additional Information

Bright yellow colour with some golden tinges.

Elegant, suggestive notes of ripe white fruit, citrus, delicate toasted notions, aromas of white flowers and remembrances of butter, cream and pastry.

Fresh and ridiculously drinkable, with a creamy, delicate body defined by some toasted nuances, a touch of citrus and white flowers, and some underlying notes of dry fruit and aromatic herbs. Well-integrated, diminutive bubbles and very good acidity. Long, seductive finish.

Our personal opinion

Marta Deluxe Gran Reserva Brut Nature 2010 offers real sophistication and finesse. Probably the packaging could be improved. However, the content really deserves a try.

Ok, the packaging is atrocious-why so many great Spanish wines come with such despicable, shitty packagings?
The sparkler, however, is actually very good.
