This is the new vintage of Marta Violet, by Ramon Canals, well-known for his excellent Cavas.
This Spanish white wine is principally made from Muscat of Frontignan, complemented with the typical varieties of the DO Penedès, Xarel·lo and Macabeo. The vines are scattered throughout the Penedès region, and its soils have very low levels of organic matter.
Manually harvested, this white wine from Penedès was produced only from the "free-run" juice.
Each wine must was independetly fermented separately in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature (15-18°C). After that, the wine Marta Violet 2019 was blended and aged for a short time before being bottled.
Particularly remarkable is the attractive presentation of Marta Violet: a purple bottle with a clean label which highlights a flower.
