Produced by Celler Xavier Clua, Mas d'en Pol Blanc is a blend of White Grenache, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. This young Spanish white wine is made from vines located near the village of Vilalba dels Arcs, in the DO Terra Alta.
Harvested during the first half of September, the grapes were macerated with the skins for 18 years and fermented under controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.
After that, Mas d'en Pol Blanc 2021 went straight into the bottle. Thus, this white wine from Terra Alta did not see any oak whatsoever.
The wine Mas d'en Pol Blanc is pale yellow with some greenish tinges.
This blend of White Grenache, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc is lively and fragrant. Citrus, ripe pears and aromatic herbs, with a note of fennel.
Substantial and fresh, this wine of Xavier Clua has a zesty acidity and a long finish with some citrusy and balsamic remembrances.
