The Heretat Mas Tinell winery produces Carpe Diem Reserva Especial Brut Nature only in exceptional vintages.
This Cava is made from a blend of Chardonnay, Xarel.lo and Parellada.
Crafted following the traditional Champenoise method, the free-run juice of each variety was separately vinified, blended, and bottled.
After that, this Cava Reserva Especial Brut Nature was aged for about 60 months in the cellar.
A strict Brut Nature, no additional sugar was added to Mas Tinell Carpe Diem Reserva Especial Brut Nature 2014 after the disgorgement.
Limited production of 15,000 bottles, all numbered.

Nose | Intense aromas, with a remarkable degree of complexity and depth. This Brut Nature Reserva Especial exhibits some notes of white flowers, aniseed and citrus, along with some remembrances of pastry, menthol and dry fruit. This Cava from Penedès has a background reminiscent of aromatic herbs and honey. |
Palate | Sexy, creamy and fresh, Carpe Diem by Mas Tinell has a supple body and well-integrated, tiny bubbles. Flowers, butter, citrus, menthol and balsam combine in a most accordant manner. Refreshing, crisp acidity and long, seductive finish. |
