The Cava Mas Tinell Cristina Gran Reserva Extra Brut was produced by Heretat Mas Tinell from the best grapes of Macabeo, Xarel·lo, Parellada and Chardonnay, coming from estate vineyards located in Penedés.
After a meticulous selection, the grapes were gently pressed and fermented. 20% of this Spanish sparkling wine was fermented in oak barrels, and the rest in stainless steel tanks. Then this Cava Extra Brut was bottled and, after completing secondary fermentation, it was aged for over 90 months.
The Cava Mas Tinell Cristina Gran Reserva Extra Brut 2009 has a sugar content between 3 and 6 grams per litre.
After more than 7 years in the bottle, this Cava from Penedès is round, nuanced and mature.

Palate | Elegant and substantial, this Cava of Heretat Mas Tinell shows a remarkable balance and a creamy texture. Bubbles are perfectly integrated, and acidity is excellent. This Cava Gran Reserva Brut has a long finish, with a gently bitter note. |
Our personal opinion | A mature, substantial Spanish sparkling wine, the Cava Mas Tinell Cristina Gran Reserva Extra Brut 2009 will pair excellently with meat dishes. If you feel daring, pair it with puff pastry and dark chocolate. |
