White Wine Més Ritme Blanc 2019
Availability: In stock
This unconventional Spanish white wine of Acústic Celler comes from DOQ Priorat. This is a region that, besides producing some bold, world-class red wines, also produces utterly characteristic white wines.
A paradigmatic example, Més Ritme Blanc is a varietal White Grenache wine sourced from 80-year-old vineyards with llicorella (slate) soils.
The grapes were hand-picked, meticulously selected and cold macerated for 48 hours. Then a 30% of this white wine from Priorat was fermented in new French oak barrels, and the rest went through the same process in stainless steel tanks.
After that, Més Ritme Blanc 2019, crafted by Catalan winemaker Albert Jané, was aged on lees for 11 months.
Decant this organic white wine some time before drinking.
Bright and clean, Més Ritme Blanc is medium straw with some golden tinges.
Elegant and deep, this varietal White Grenache shows some prominent notes of white and yellow fruit, underpinned by remembrances of pastry, Mediterranean garrigue and sweet spices. On the background, the wine displays an extremely seductive minerality, that keeps the conversation going for as long as one wishes.
This white wine from Acústic Celler is textured, precise and fresh. Remembrances of fine lees, Mediterranean forest floor, flowers and white fruit, with a long, enticingly mineral finish.
|Our personal opinion||
The exciting Més Ritme Blanc 2019 shows why white wines are Priorat's best kept secret. Pair with creamy cheeses and white meat dishes.
