Details
This unconventional Spanish white wine of Acústic Celler comes from DOQ Priorat. This is a region that, besides producing some bold, world-class red wines, also produces utterly characteristic white wines.
A paradigmatic example, Més Ritme Blanc is a varietal White Grenache wine sourced from 80-year-old vineyards with llicorella (slate) soils.
The grapes were hand-picked, meticulously selected and cold macerated for 48 hours. Then a 30% of this white wine from Priorat was fermented in new French oak barrels, and the rest went through the same process in stainless steel tanks.
After that, Més Ritme Blanc 2021, crafted by talented Catalan winemaker Albert Jané, was aged on lees for 11 months.
Decant this organic white wine some time before drinking.

rythm
I relish Priorat whites. I give this one 4 stars because it is still developing. I think it needs a good 4 years to reach the top.

Good Rythm
This white wine is quite different to the Priorat reds. Crisp and electric. However, the minerality has not been lost along the way. Good!!
