Details

Made in the DO Cariñena, Monasterio de las Viñas Reserva is a blend of Grenache, Tempranillo and Carignan.

This Spanish red wine was produced by the Grandes Vinos y Viñedos winery from low-yielding, 35 to 45-year-old vineyards located in the town of San José de Aguarón.

The harvest was carried out manually. Once in the winery, the grapes were cold-soaked to extract its full aromatic potential. Subsequently, each grape was fermented separately at a controlled temperature in stainless steel vats. Then 70% of the wine was aged in French oak barrels, while the rest was aged in American oak.

Finally, Monasterio de las Viñas Reserva 2015 was blended, bottled and aged for another 24 months before its release.
