Soils are composed of clay and limestone and climate is mediterranean with a continental influence.
The grapes were carefully harvested, and then selected and destemmed in the cellar.
Vinified in wooden vats, they were macerated for 12 hours and was subsequently fermented for 20 to 25 days.
Then Muga Rosado 2018 was aged for 3 months on its lees in the wooden vats and was cold-stabilized and filtered prior to its bottling.
Drink this rosé wine from La Rioja over the next 18 months.
The rosé wine Muga Rosado has a clean, bright, onion-skin colour with some copper-coloured tinges.
Rich and fresh, this rosé wine from La Rioja carries notes of raspberries, cherries and peaches. On the background, there are some aromas of citrus, nuanced by a touch of smoke and pastry.
Savoury and crisp, this rosé by Bodegas Muga has a lively acidity and a smooth texture. Delicate remembrances of red apples, cherries and citrus. Long and pleasant finish, with remembrances of aromatic herbs and a note of lime.
