Cava Naveran Perles Blanques Brut 2016
Availability: In stock
The Cava Naveran Perles Blanques is produced by Caves Naveran, a winery based in Torrelavit, Penedès.
Belonging to the Cava designation, this Spanish sparkling wine is made from a blend of two French grapes, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Harvested by hand at their optimal ripening state, the grapes were brought to the cellar and separately vinified according to their specific variety.
The Pinot Noir was vinified avoiding the contact between the wine must and the skins in order to obtain a white wine must, that is, a Blanc de Noirs.
As for the Chardonnay grapes, a portion of them were vinified in oak barrels, while the rest underwent the process in stainless steel tanks.
After the completion of alcoholic fermentation, this Cava from Penedès was blended and bottled. Once secondary fermentation was completed, Naveran Perles Blanques Brut 2015 was aged for a minimum of 24 months prior to its commercial release.
This is a very versatile Cava Brut Reserva.
Appearance | The Cava Naveran Perles Blanques has a very bright, clean, pale yellow colour with some golden tinges and amber glints. |

Nose | Elegant and intense, this Cava Cuvee Antonia suggests aromas notes of white fruit, ripe cherries and some mineral hints. The oak ageing of this blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay shows in some remembrances of pastry and butter and a touch of dry fruit. |
Palate | This Cava Reserva Brut has a creamy and pleasant entrance onto the palate. Layered and substantial, with ripe white fruit, quince, spices and pomegranate. Very good acidity, little, well-integrated bubbles and long, savoury finish. |
Our personal opinion | The Cava Naveran Perles Blanques Brut 2015 is complex, elegant and well-balanced. |
