Noa de Bohigas Brut Nature 2010 is a sparkling wine crafted from a highly original blend of Pinot Noir and Xarel.lo grapes.

Meticulously crafted by the Fermí Bohigas winery from vines grown in the Anoia region, not far from Barcelona, once the vinification process was completed this sparkling wine was aged for 15 months in the bottle.

Appearance

Pale creamy yellow coloured body with some golden reflections and some greyish glints.

Nose

This Cava shows fresh aromas of citrus, pineapple and grapefruit, along with some remembrances of red fruit, notably raspberries and cherries. Slowly, as the wine opens, nuanced ageing notes become present, namely some toasted notes along with dark chocolate aromas.

Palate

Noa de Bohigas Brut Nature, has a palate that is marked by its pleasant acididity. The Pinot Noir gives it a character which is more Atlantic than Mediterranean. Creamy, powerful, and friendly palate that presents subtle fruit sensations, notions of red berries, a dash of citrus, nuanced ageing notes, and some spicy flavors. Bubbles are extremely well integrated, and finish is long and complex.

Our personal opinion

Noa de Bohigas Brut Nature 2010 works very well with appetizers, light dishes and pastries, and it is also a great afternoon drink.
