White Wine Nora 2017

The little, thick-skinned grapes come from middle-aged vines grown in the hills of the Tea County at an altitude below 300 metres above sea level. The alluvial soil is composed mainly of granitic rock.
Handpicked and meticulously selected, the Albariño grapes were cold-soaked to maximize the extraction of aromatic compounds. Then 10% of them were fermented in oak and the rest in stainless steel tanks.
After that, this white wine from Rías Baixas was aged for 4 months on its lees.
A young, promising Albariño, Nora 2017 will undoubtedly improve for at least 4-5 years in the bottle.
The white wine Nora has a clean, bright, pale straw colour with steely tinges.
This Albariño suggests some delicate, clean aromas of freshly cut grass, white fruit and white flowers such as jasmines and peonies. This white wine from Rías Baixas also exhibits some entrancing mineral undertones.
Crisp and fruity on the palate, with delightful remembrances of flowers, citrus, herbs and white fruit. This Albariño by Viña Nora has a tight acidity, a nice texture, with remarkable freshness and a lingering, flowery aftertaste.
