White Wine Nora 2018
Availability: In stock
The little, thick-skinned grapes come from middle-aged vines grown in the hills of the Tea County at an altitude below 300 metres above sea level. The alluvial soil is composed mainly of granitic rock.
Handpicked and meticulously selected, the grapes were cold-soaked for 6 hours to maximize the extraction of aromatic compounds. Then 10% of this young white wine was fermented in oak, and the rest in stainless steel tanks.
After that, Nora 2018 was aged for 4 months on its lees.
This is a young, promising Albariño from Rías Baixas that will grow in the bottle.
The white wine Nora has a clean, bright, pale straw colour with steely tinges.
This varietal Albariño suggests some delicate, clean aromas of freshly cut grass, white fruit and white flowers such as jasmines and peonies. This white wine from Rías Baixas also exhibits some entrancing mineral undertones.
Crisp and fruity on the palate, with delightful remembrances of flowers, citrus, herbs and white fruit. This wine from Bodega Viña Nora has a tight acidity, a nice texture, with remarkable freshness and a lingering, flowery aftertaste.
