Product Description
Details

Coming from vines situated in the Tea county, near the Miño river, Nora Da Neve is a varietal Albariño from from Rías Baixas.

The vines, which grow under an Atlantic climate, are planted in soils composed mainly of gravel and decomposed granite.

The Albariño grapes used to produce this Spanish white wine of Bodega Viña Nora were harvested by hand and meticulously vinified.

First, they were macerated for 48 hours. Then they were fermented in French oak barrels, and Nora da Neve 2017 was subsequently aged for 7 months with periodic stirrings of the lees.

The result is a remarkably complex and expressive Rías Baixas white wine.

Appearance

This Spanish white wine Nora Da Neve Albariño has a clean, bright golden colour with some lemon colour tinges.

Nose

Sophisticated notes of citrus, white fruit, exotic fruit and white flowers. This varietal Albariño also suggests aromas of butter, aniseed, fennel and laurel over a pristine mineral background.

Palate

Fresh and unctuous, this wine of Bodega Viña Nora has both a considerable corpulence and a remarkable tension. Loads of white fruite, some tropical notes, dim wooden aromas, fresh notions of butter, Tahitian vanilla and citrus. Well-balanced acidity and long, mineral finish.

Our personal opinion

A first-class Albariño, Nora Da Neve 2017 pairs wonderfully with hearty fish dishes and risottos.

Outstanding Albarino. Don't drink it too young, because it really grows in the bottle.
