Product Description
Details

A traditional Spanish red wine made from a classic DOCa Rioja blend, Ostatu Crianza Magnum is produced by Bodegas Ostatu.

The main variety is Tempranillo, with some brushstrokes of GrenacheGraciano and Mazuela (Carignan). The grapes were harvested by hand from 25 to 50-year-old estate-owned vineyards located at approximately 600 metres of altitude.

Cold-macerated before fermentation, a portion of the grapes was traditionally fermented in stainless steel tanks, while the rest was fermented whole bunch following the carbonic maceration technique. Malolactic fermentation took place in the tanks, after which Ostatu Crianza Magnum 2018 was aged for 12 months in 2nd year oak barrels.

Finally, this Crianza red wine was gently filtered before bottling.

Aerate this Rioja red wine in a magnum bottle 40-60 minutes before drinking.

3,718 bottles produced.
