Product Description

The Señorío de Otazu winery crafts Otazu Premium Cuvée from a selection of its best vineyards.

This Spanish red wine is made from Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, all of them harvested at their optimal ripening time.

Once in the cellar, the grapes were cold-macerated for a week. After that, this red wine from Navarra was fermented in stainless steel tanks.

Finally, this wine from Navarra was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, and for a further 14 months in the cellar prior to its release.

We suggest that you aerate Otazu Premium Cuvée 2018 a short time before drinking.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The red wine Otazu Premium Cuvée has a very bright cherry colour with some ruby glints.

Rather elegant, this blend of Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot suggests aromas of black fruit, vanilla, spices, toast and balsam. This Crianza red wine also conveys notes of aromatic herbs and some earthy remembrances.

Bold and intense, this wine from Señorío de Otazu has a very good acidity and a solid backbone. Ripe fruit, subtle toasted nuances, and remembrances of spices, balsam and underbush. Mild tannins and long finish.

Our personal opinion

High on the list
Hard to find something quite as good for the price. Besides, the wine already has 4 years and it is fully ripe and enjoyable.
