Red Wine Paco García Crianza 2018
Availability: In stock
This is the new vintage of Paco García Crianza. It is made from two varieties, 90% Tempranillo and 10% Grenache, coming from three vineyards - Paraje 3 Marqueses, Santa Ana and Las Canteras - located in La Rioja.
The plots are at an altitude of 470 metres above sea level. Soils are composed of clay and limestone.
Produced by Bodegas Paco García, this Spanish red wine was traditionally vinified. First, the grapes were cold macerated for 48 hours; then they were fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature.
After that, Paco García Crianza 2018 was aged for 12 months in used, medium-toast French oak barrels.
The result is a round and smooth Crianza red wine.
The wine Paco García Crianza is medium cherry with a claret rim.
This blend of Tempranillo and Grenache shows a good balance between aromas of red fruit, wet earth, vegetals and undergrowth on the one side, and some wooden notions of menthol, caramel, clove and spices on the other.
This wine from Bodegas Paco García is balanced, fresh and yummy. Mild tannins, crisp acidity and long finish with some coconut and cocoa remembrances.
