Red Wine Paco García Seis 2018
Availability: In stock
A single varietal Tempranillo, Paco García Seis is also a single estate wine. It is made from grapevines which were planted in 2007, in clayey-limestone soils, at an altitude of 510 metres above sea level.
Handpicked and carefully selected, the grapes were meticulously vinified and aged for 6 months in lightly toasted, 2nd year French oak barrels.
It is always a pleasure to drink an honest, judiciously oaked Tempranillo from La Rioja such as Paco García Seis 2018
The red wine Paco García Seis has a medium-high cherry robe with a garnet rim and some ruby tinges.
Aromas of wild berries and violets, typical of a young Tempranillo, along with some delicately oaky notes, hints of arabica coffee beans, fine wood and spices. There are some mineral and balsamic undertones in the background.
Round and supple, this red wine of Bodega Paco García carries notes of ripe fruit, flowers, delicate touches of vanilla and caramel and remembrances of dry herbs. Ripe, savoury tannins. Well-balanced acidity and a lingering finish with notes of red fruit.
