Appearance

Nose

Nuanced and quite intense, this varietal Tempranillo is earthy and mineral, with notes of wild berries, toast and spices, and some lactic and herbal nuances.

Palate

Mellowed and rounded by the years, this red wine of bodega Pago de Ina is nearing its peak. Very pleasant, with smooth tannins, a crisp acidity and a terroir-driven character. Long finish with remembrances of undergrowth, toast and forest berries.

Our personal opinion

A presentable wine indeed, Pago de Ina Vendimia Seleccionada 2011 will pair fabulously with, for instance, a roast lamb leg with gravy.
