Details
One of the best-known wines from Ribera del Duero, Pago de los Capellanes Crianza is a varietal Tempranillo.
This expressive Spanish red wine from bodega Pago de los Capellanes is produced from 18 plots planted with vines 30 years old on average. They are located in the town of Pedrosa del Duero, at an altitude of 800 metres above sea level. Soils are composed of clay and limestone.
Meticulously harvested, the grapes were selected on site. Once in the cellar, they were fermented with indigenous yeasts with daily pump-overs and punch-downs.
After a period of about a month, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was drawn off to complete malolactic fermentation.
Finally, Pago de los Capellanes Crianza 2020 was aged for 12 months in new and 2nd year French oak barrels.
Aerate this Crianza red wine 1 hour before drinking.
