Product Description

The entry-level Spanish red wine of the renowned Palacios Remondo winery in La Rioja, Palacios Remondo La Vendimia is, as always, designed to provide joy and delight to its drinkers.

Made from a blend of Grenache and Tempranillo, the grapes were destemmed and macerated prior to alcoholic fermentation to enhance the extraction of colour and phenolic compounds.

Subsequently fermented in stainless steel tanks for 2 to 3 weeks with periodic pump-overs, after finishing malolactic fermentation this red wine from La Rioja was transferred into French oak barrels and vats and aged for a brief period of 5 months .

Drink Palacios Remondo La Vendimia 2017 from now to 2021.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The red wine Palacios Remondo La Vendimia has an intense cherry colour with a purple rim.

Fresh aromas of red fruit nuanced by subtle notes of toast and spices. As this young red wine from La Rioja opens, the fruit becomes even more prominent and intertwines with some notions of undergrowth and dried herbs.

Flavourful, straightforward and fresh. La Vendimia by Palacios Remondo suggests remembrances of cranberries and raspberries, a hint of vanilla and a subtle, forest-like sensation. Great acidity and sweet tannins. Medium, fruity finish.

Our personal opinion

A young Rioja red wine aged in oak for a short period, Palacios Remondo La Vendimia 2017 is a fabulous value.
