White Wine Palomo Cojo 2019
Availability: In stock
Produced in the DO Rueda, Palomo Cojo is a single varietal Verdejo made from grapevines grown in poor soils under a continental climate.
After the harvest, the grapes were destemmed and macerated for 10 hours to extract colour and aromas. Then they were gently pressed, and afterwards this Spanish white wine was fermented at a controlled temperature.
Purposefully, Palomo Cojo 2019 was not further aged in oak to preserve its delicately mineral character.
Appearance | The white wine Palomo Cojo has a very bright, straw yellow colour with some greenish tinges. |

Nose | Both fruity and sharp, this white wine from Rueda suggests aromas of pears, green apples, pineapple, citrus and apricot compote, displayed over a mineral and herbal background. |
Palate | Pleasant and fresh, this Verdejo white wine has a smooth passage through the palate, with a lively acidity. Notes of citrus, white fruit and aromatic herbs. Delicately bitter finish. |
Our personal opinion | Easy and savoury, Palomo Cojo 2019 from Rueda pairs well with appetizers, tapas and Japanese food. |
