Details
As its name suggests, Parés Baltà Calcari is made from vines grown in a calcareous soil which provides a particular minerality to the wine.
The vines are located at an altitude of 230 metres above sea level. Climate is purely Mediterranean.
A varietal Xarel·lo, this Spanish white wine is produced by the Parés Baltà winery.
Meticulously harvested and macerated for a period of 4 hours, this organic white wine from Penedès was fermented in stainless steel tanks for over a period of 3 weeks at a controlled temperature.
Finally, Parés Baltà Calcari 2021 was aged for a period of 3 months on its lees with daily stirrings.
Pair this young white wine with shrimp and light dishes.
