Details
Produced by the Parés Baltà winery, the wine Parés Baltà Mas Irene is part of the Microcuvées collection, a collection of small lot bottlings sourced from the best plots of the winery.
This blended Spanish red wine is made from Merlot - sourced from the "Cal Miret" plot, located at an altitude of 400 metres above sea level - and Cabernet Franc - coming from the "La Torreta" vineyard, at 315 metres of altitude. - Located in the Penedès region, the vineyards are tended following biodynamic and organic principles.
Meticulously harvested and carefully selected, after a cold-soaking process each variety was separately vinified in stainless steel tanks.
Then the wine Parés Baltà Mas Irene 2019 was aged for 13 months in new French oak barrels from Allier.
After its bottling, this red wine from Penedès spent a further months in the cellar prior to being released.
Decant this vegan red wine 30 minutes before drinking.
