The plants grow in very poor, sandy soils under an extreme continental climate with little rainfall and great temperature differences between daytime and nighttime.
Carefully selected and harvested by hand, winemaker Rafael Cañizares decided to harvest the grapes during the second half of September. Macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks, this Vino de la Tierra de Castilla was aged for 6 months in 2nd and 3rd year Fench oak barrels previously used to age the wine Volver.

The wine Paso a Paso Tempranillo has a clean, bright, ruby colour with a violet rim.
Intense notes of red fruit nuanced by some touches of spices and dried flowers. On the background, this Tempranillo suggests some toasted undertones and remembrances of menthol.
Yummy fruit, nimble passage and lively notes of spices and toast. This wine by Jorge Ordóñez has a good acidity and some ripe tannins. Medium, fruity finish.
