Product Description
Details

This is the new vintage of this Spanish red wine by Castillo Peredada.

The five grape varieties of Perelada 3 Finques come from 3 estates (3 Finques), two of which also give name to 2 of the best-known wines produced by Castillo de Perelada: Finca La Garriga and Finca Espolla.

The composition of this red wine from L'Empordà is defined by the two traditional varieties of the region, namely Samsó (Carignan) and Grenache, complemented with small amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.

The grapes were traditionally vinified in stainless steel tanks.

After that, this wine from L'Empordà was aged in 70% American and 30% French oak barrels for 12 months.

Drink Perelada 3 Finques 2015 from now until 2021.

Appearance

The red wine Perelada 3 Finques has a bright cherry colour with a violet rim.

Nose

Pleasant notes of red fruit, alongside remembrances of jammy black fruit, some creamy and spicy nuances and a hint of toast and balsam. An expressive Crianza red wine from L'Empordà.

Palate

Smooth and light, this red wine by Castillo Perelada suggests notions of Mediterranean underbush, wild berries, balsam and some mineral undertones. Good acidity, mild tannins and long, toasted finish.

Our personal opinion

An excellent value, Perelada 3 Finques 2015 is also a very versatile wine.
