Product Description

This is the new vintage of Pinord +7, a very interesting Spanish red wine made from a blend of Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.

The grapes come exclusively from Mas Blanc, a terraced 18-hectare certified organic estate located between the towns of Bellmunt and Falset, in the heart of DOQ Priorat.

The 2018 vintage was an unusually rainy one, a fact which delayed both bud brake and ripening. Once perfect maturation had been achieved, the grapes were manually harvested and separately vinified in stainless steel tanks.

After that, Pinord +7 2016  was aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.

Finally, this wine of Bodegas Pinord was aged for a further year before its release.

Decant 1 hour before drinking.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The wine Pinord 7+ has an intense garnet colour with some bluish tinges.

Complex, intense notes of ripe black fruit, spices and balsam. On the background, this organic red wine suggests some aromas of black pepper and Mediterranean underbrush, over a deep mineral background.

Complex and terroir-orientated, this Pinord red wine has a first-class acidity, bold tannins and a nice freshness. Long finish with remembrances of wild berries, aromatic herbs and an appealing earthy note.

Our personal opinion

Balanced and full of character, Pinord +7 2016 is deep, characteristic and enjoyable. An excellent Priorat.
