An interesting Spanish red wine, it is made from a meticulous selection of over 80-year-old vineyards scattered over 7 hectares near the town of Magallón, belonging to the DO Campo de Borja.
Farmed with the utmost care, the old grapevines were harvested at dusk and carefully selected. Once in the premises, they were partially destemmed, macerated for seven days in open vats, crushed by foot and fermented.
After that, this Crianza red wine was transferred into French oak barrels. After that, Prados Colección Garnacha 2016 completed malolactic fermentation and was aged for 10 months.
We suggest that you aerate this Grenache from Aragón 20 minutes before drinking.
The Spanish red wine Prados Colección Garnacha has a bright cherry colour with a violet rim.
Defined by aromas of ripe red and black fuit, Prados Garnacha from Pagos del Moncayo is nuanced by some rich spicy nuances and aromas of coffee, cocoa, vanilla and hints of flowers and liquorice.
This varietal Grenache from Campo de Borja has volume, density and a smooth texture. Easier than one might think, with, again, red and black fruit, some remembrances of violets, and well-balanced spicy and creamy suggestions. Mild tannins and good acidity, with a long finish
