Produced by the Pagos del Moncayo winery, Prados Colección Syrah is an interesting varietal Spanish red wine from Campo de Borja, Aragón.
The Syrah grapes come from Finca La Loma, a small vineyard planted with vines around 80 years of age.
Harvested by hand, the grapes were selected, destemmed and macerated in open vats for one week. Then they were stomped and fermented.
After that, the wine was drawn-off. Finally, Prados Colección Syrah 2019 was aged for 10 months in American oak barrels.
Decant this red wine from Campo de Borja 30 minutes before drinking.
Bear in mind that, until the 2014 vintage, Prados Colección Syrah was known as Pagos de Moncayo Syrah.
