A varietal Tinta de Toro, this Spanish red wine is made through the carbonic maceration method.
Its Spanish name ("primero" means "first"), clearly indicates its special nature, as this wine was released onto the market less than 3 months after the harvest.
The wine Fariña Primero 2020 was vinified for 5 to 7 days at a temperature of 20ºC in stainless steel tanks. It was stabilized before being bottled.
Another distinctive feature of this young red wine is that the label reproduces the work of a visual artist.
The red wine Fariña Primero has a bright, attractive cherry colour with a purple rim.
Tremendously expressive notes of strawberries, raspberries and cherries, alongside a dash of violets, typical of the Tinta de Toro variety. On the background, Primero de Fariña also suggests some hints of herbs and black pepper.
Crisp, fresh and yummy, this carbonic maceration wine of Bodegas Fariña shows some prominent flavours of fruit, lively tannins and a great acidity. Fresh, pleasant and almost embarrasingly easy to drink.
