Red Wine Protos Roble 2018
Availability: In stock
Produced from over 25-year-old grapevines located near the town of Peñafiel, this Spanish red wine belongs to the DO Ribera del Duero.
Manually harvested, first the grapes were macerated for 15 days and then they completed alcoholic and malolactic fermentations.
After that, Protos Roble 2018 was aged for 6 months in American oak barrels.
Finally, this red wine from Ribera del Duero was aged for 6 months in the cellar before its release.
The Spanish red wine Protos Roble has an intense cherry colour with a violet rim.
Fresh notes of wild berries with a slightly dark twist, typical of a Tinta del País, nuanced by some spicy notes and remembrances of liquorice and toast.
Fresh and gentle, with a light passage and a smooth texture. This mildly oaked red wine from Bodega Protos suggests some wild berries, sweet spices and some balsamic remembrances. This wine from Ribera del Duero has some mild tannins, a well-balanced acidity, and a medium, fruity finish.
|Our personal opinion||
An excellent value, Protos Roble 2018 pairs well with roasted vegetables and BBQs.
