Product Description

A round, flavourful Spanish red wine from DO Montsant, Racó d'Atans is produced by Mas de les Vinyes.

The main ingredient of this red wine from Montsant is Cabernet Sauvignon, complemented with Syrah and Merlot. The grapes are sourced from 30 to 70-year-old vineyards with clay and sandy soils that bring a savoury tang to the wine.

Harvested at their optimal ripening point, the grapes were selected in the cellar. Then this Crianza red wine was vinified in stainless steel tanks.

After that, Racó d'Atans 2015 was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

Only 6,500 bottles produced.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The red wine Racó d'Atans is medium violet with a purple rim.

Quite deep, this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah suggests aromas of ripe plums and mulberries, with hints of cinnamon, toast, balsam and smoke.

Muscular and fresh, this wine of Celler Mas de les Vinyes shows a somewhat restrained character, with an excellent acidity and smooth tannins. Oak is nicely integrated, and finish is quite long, with an aftertasted of black fruit, spices and balsam.
