Product Description

Made from a blend of Xarel·lo and Parellada coming from old vines located in the heart of Penedès, the sparkler Ramon Nadal Giró Brut is an homage to the founder of Cavas Nadal, Ramon Nadal Giró.

Alcoholic fermentation of this Spanish sparkling wine marketed under the Corpinnat designation took place in stainless steel tanks.

Then Ramon Nadal Giró Brut 2014 was blended and bottled, after which it completed secondary fermentation.

Finally, this Corpinnat sparkling wine was aged for a minimum of 48 months in the winery's cellar, 20 metres below ground.

8,425 bottles produced.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The sparkling wine Ramon Nadal Giró Brut has a clean, transparent yellow colour with some golden tinges.

This blend of Xarel·lo and Parellada is elegantly complex. Loads of ripe white fruit, alongside citrus, white flowers and herbs. On the background, Nadal Giró suggests some remembrances of honey, with lactic touches and some toasted and smokey remembrances.

Suave and refined, RNG Brut conveys notes of lemon, undergrowth and grapefruit, over a creamy layer of butter and pastry, with dim remembrances of almonds and hazelnuts. Smooth-textured, this Corpinnat sparkler of Cavas Nadal has a delicate mousse, a great freshness and a long, rich finish.

Our personal opinion

Impressive Cava
I admit I was taken aback by this wine. I was expecting a rather sketchy bubbly, and all of a sudden I found a very precise Cava, with sharp edges and a remarkable texture. 5 stars.

Top level Cava that deserves to be better known. For me it is a 17/20 wine.
