The new vintage of L’Hereu Brut comes with a new packaging and a new name. From now on, this Spanish sparkling wine will bear the name Raventós i Blanc Blanc de Blancs.
A single estate wine, the grapes come from Vinya del Llac, an over 40-year-old vineyard planted near a lake which naturally regulates the temperature of the area.
Once in the cellar, the three varieties were separately fermented according to variety and origin. Then the blend was made and this sparkling wine from Conca de l'Anoia was bottled in order to complete secondary fermentation. Finally, Raventós i Blanc Blanc de Blancs 2017 was aged for a minimum of 18 months in the bottle. No shipping liquor was added to the wine after disgorging it.
As with all of Raventós i Blanc wines, the disgorging date of this organic sparkling wine is printed on the back label.

The sparkler Raventós i Blanc Blanc de Blancs has a straw yellow colour with some greenish tinges.
Clean, straightforward aromas of citrus and white fruit, combined with some herbal remembrances, white flowers and fine lees. Raventós i Blanc Blanc de Blancs has an elegant mineral background with some hints of dry fruit.
Fresh and scintillating, this sparkling wine by Raventós i Blanc is well-balanced and more complex than we expected. There are some original salty notes, and the ageing nuances become more noticeable. This organic sparkling wine has an excellent acidity and a long, fruity finish.

Extremely versatile, Raventós i Blanc Blanc de Blancs 2017 is always appetising, both with or without food.
