The Recaredo winery, the first Spanish sparkling wine producer to obtain a Demeter Certification for biodynamic agriculture, presents the new vintage of Recaredo Serral del Vell, formerly known as Recaredo Brut de Bruts.
A single vineyard Corpinnat sparkler, it is produced from grapes coming exclusively from Serral del Vell, a vineyard located on a plateau composed of limestone soils on the riverbanks of the Bitlles river.
This excellent Brut Nature is a blend of Macabeo and Xarel·lo coming from low-yielding grapevines. After a meticulous vinification, Recaredo Serral del Vell 2014 was aged for over 60 months in the bottle. Each bottle was manually disgorged.

Nose | Intensely balsamic, this blend of Macabeo & Xarel·lo suggests aromas of white fruit nuanced by hints of fennel, liquorice and aniseed, dim remembrances of lees and white flowers, and some mineral intimations. The nose of this Corpinnat shows real complexity and refinement. |
Palate | Extremely fresh, with a delightful intrincacy and a great potential for growth, this organic sparkling wine of the Recaredo winery combines in the very evocative way remembrances of fruit, Mediterranean herbs, some buttery and creamy notes and a touch of dry fruit. Crisp and dry, extremely pure, the wine ends with an elegantly bitter note, Xarel·lo's trademark. |
