Product Description

Produced by the Recaredo winery, Recaredo Subtil is made from grapes coming from a single vineyard, called Serral del Roure. The word "Subtil" (Subtle) is not an overstatement, but a rather accurate description of this Spanish sparkling wine.

All of Recaredo's vineyards are estate-owned and Demeter certified, proving the commitment of the winery to the principles of biodynamic agriculture. The winery also belongs to the Corpinnat association of quality producers.

A varietal Xarel·lo, the grapes were traditionally vinified. Then Recaredo Subtil 2017 was bottled and aged for a minimum of 66 months in the cellar.

Finally, this organic sparkling wine was manually disgorged and added no shipping liquor.

The organic sparkling wine Recaredo Subtil is medium yellow with some greenish tinges.


This varietal Xarel·lo has an inviting, evocative nose. Creamy aromas of raw almonds and toasted hazelnuts, nuanced by remembrances of pastry, spices and white flowers, as well as aromas of toast, aniseed and citrus.


Fresh and creamy, with mineral remembrances and notes of pears, roasted almonds and white flowers. This Corpinnat sparkling wine has depth and impulse, an excellent acidity and a silky texture. This wine from Recaredo has a very long, complex finish.

Our personal opinion

Nuanced, fresh and inviting, Recaredo Subtil 2017 is an excellent choice for a celebration dinner.
