Corpinnat Recaredo Terrers Magnum 2014

The word "Terrers" means both "soil" and "terroir" in Catalan. Recaredo Terrers Mágnum honours its name.
A blend of Xarel·lo, Macabeo and Parellada, the vines grow in soils with different compositions, all with a high calcareous content. Like all the vineyards of the Recaredo winery, they are farmed following the guidelines of organic and biodynamic agriculture (Recaredo is a Demeter certified company.)
Traditionally crafted, the grapes were separately vinified before the final blend was decided. Then this Spanish sparkling wine was bottled to complete secondary fermentation. After that, it was aged in the cellar for a minimum of 45 months.
Finally, Recaredo Terrers Magnum 2014 was manually disgorged. No sugar was added after that operation.

Palate | Gentle and savoury, this Corpinnat sparkling wine of Caves Recaredo has some creamy, palate-caressing bubbles and a silky body. Suggestions of citrus, white flowers, petals of white roses, toasted almonds, hazelnuts, aromatic herbs and pastry. Long, linear, pleasant finish. |
Our personal opinion | The organic and biodynamic Cava Recaredo Terrers Magnum 2014 is a sophisticated sparkler that comes in a 1.5-litre bottle, thus making it perfect for parties and celebrations. |
