The fresh, unoaked S de Saó del Coster is the entry-level wine of the Saó del Coster winery.
Carefully harvested, the grapes were macerated and fermented in 500 and 1,000-litre stainless steel tanks using indigenous yeasts.
Extraction was gentle, and only one punch-down was performed to enhance the contact between the wine must and the grape skins.
After that, this Spanish red wine from Priorat was aged on its lees for 12 months in those same tanks.

The red wine S de Saó del Coster has a bright, clean cherry colour with a bluish rim.
Intense and well-defined, this blend of Grenache and Carignan from Priorat shows some lively aromas of red fruit, black plums, cassis and cranberries over a mineral background nuanced by some balsamic notes.
Pleasant and direct, with a yummy character and a rewarding freshness. Balsam, red fruit, some remembrances of garrigue and a discreet minerality. This red wine by the Saó del Coster winery has a very good acidity, ripe tannins and a medium finish.
