White wine from Pla de Bages. Blend of Macabeo and Picapoll aged for 3 months on lees.

Hand-harvested and selected on site, the grapes were refrigerated on arriving at the cellar, destemmed and selected again. Then they were cold-macerated and drawn-off, after which this Spanish white wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks -except a 20% Macabeo, which was fermented in barrels.
Then the wine was aged on lees for 3 months. Finally, Sanmartí 1018 Macabeu Picapoll 2019 was clarified, stabilized and filtered before bottling.
Aerate this white wine from Pla de Bages some time before drinking.
Pair with baked fish recipes, rice dishes and pasta ai frutti di mare.

The white wine Sanmartí 1018 Macabeu Picapoll is medium straw with some golden reflections.
Lively aromas of grapefruit and orange, with a surprising note of cashews, and hints of pine needles and aromatic herbs. This blend of Macabeo and Picapoll Blanc is compelling.
This white wine from Celler Sanmartí is medium-bodied, focused and very fresh. Citrusy and long, with an expansive finish reminiscent of herbs and white flowers.
