Availability: In stock
The 2017 vintage of Santbru Blanc from Montsant has slightly changed its usual composition.
This time, this Spanish white wine of the Portal del Montsant winery combines two grape varieties.
The harvest was carried out manually, and the grapes were meticulously selected both on site and in the cellar.
After that, this white wine from Montsant was fermented and subsequently aged in 500-litre French oak barrels for 5 months
Pair Santbru Blanc 2017 with pasta, white meat, rice or cheese.
The wine Santbru Blanc has a pale yellow colour with some greenish-grey tinges.
Deep, complex and ever-evolving, this wine by Portal del Montsant smells of pears, citrus and peaches, nuanced by aromas of almonds, spices, undergrowth and some mineral undertones. A remarkably expressive blend of White Grenache and Chardonnay.
Pleasant, intrincate and deep, with freshness and a crisp acidity. This white wine from Montsant suggests some spicy and balsamic nuances, delicate hints of flowers, white mineral and aromatic herbs and well-defined notes of citrus and bone fruit. Long finish with a mineral twist.
