Details
The entry-level Spanish red wine of the Viñas del Jaro winery - a branch of the Compañía de Viñedos Iberian - is a varietal Tempranillo.
Interestingly, Sembro is also a single estate wine. It is produced exclusively from grapes coming from Finca El Quiñón, a estate located in Pesquera del Duero, at the heart of the DO Ribera del Duero.
After the harvest, the wine must was fermented in stainless steel tanks for 10 days under a strict temperature control.
Then Sembro 2018 remained in contact with its lees for 7 days in order to enhance its creaminess and roundness.
Finally, this young red wine from Ribera del Duero was aged for 4 months in new and 2nd year 300-litre French oak barrels.

| Palate | A fresh and savoury red wine, Sembro of Bodega Viñas del Jaro, it has a smooth body, a lively acidity and some spirited tannins that will mellow over the next years. The oak is unobtrusive, and the wine breathes freely. Long finish with some balsamic remembrances. |
