Product Description

Produced by the Montebaco winery, Semele Crianza is a blended Spanish red wine from Ribera del Duero.

It consists basically of Tempranillo, complemented with a 10% Merlot.

The grapes come from Finca Monte Alto. The vineyard is located between the towns of Pesquera de Duero and Valbuena, right in the heart of Ribera del Duero's "Golden Mile", at an altitude of 850 metres above sea level.

After a meticulous harvest and a careful vinification, Semele Crianza 2018 was aged for 12 months in oak barrels.

Aerate this tasty red wine from Ribera del Duero 30 minutes before drinking.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The wine Semele Crianza has a clean, bright, medium-high cherry-coloured robe with a crimson rim.

This blend of Tempranillo and Merlot shows a good balance between fruity aromas and wooden notes. Ripe black fruit, some flowery touches, a dash of liquorice and hints of spices and dry earth.

Fresh and savoury, this wine of bodega Montebaco has a good acidity, slightly dry tannins and a long, fruity finish that leaves some remembrances of wild berries, liquorice and spices.

I like the smell of Ribera del Duero in the evening, after a hard day's work. I like this Ribera.
