Product Description

Produced by Bodega Sers, Sers Reserva (Fuerza 16) comes from the harsh, windswept Spanish region of Somontano.

A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, the grapes come from Finca La Morera, located at an altitude of 300 metres above sea level and farmed following sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.

Harvested by hand and traditionally vinified, this Spanish red wine was aged for 12 months in American oak barrels.

After that, this Reserva red wine was delicately filtered and aged for another 24 months in the bottle.

The wine was not filtered before its bottling, so it may present some sediment. We suggest that you decant Sers Reserva 2015 30 minutes before drinking.

Additional Information
Additional Information

The red wine Sers Reserva has a deep, medium cherry-coloured robe with a garnet rim.

Rather tight at the beginning, as Sers Reserva Fuerza 16 opens it displays aromas of cinnamon, vanilla, pepper and clove, combined with remembrances of black fruit, toast, smoke, dry earth and withered leaves. An expressive red wine from Somontano.

Smooth and meaty, with a solid structure and a refreshing acidity. Black fruit, Eastern spices, bitter chocolate, vegetables, toast, balsam and some mineral remembrances. This reserve red wine by Bodega Sers has a long, spicy finish.
