Crafted by the Sers winery, this Spanish red wine is made from vines grown in the "La Morera" estate, at an altitude of 300 metres above sea level, in the pre-pyrenaic town of Cofita, Huesca.
The grapes were harvested in the first week of october. After a careful vinification process, this red wine from Somontano was aged for 5 months in new oak barrels.
Finally, Sers Singular 2017 Fuerza 17 was mildly filtered before its bottling, so we recommend that you decant it to remove any sediment.
This red wine Sers Singular wine from Somontano has an intense, ripe cherry colour with some violet tinges.
Extremely fresh, the nose of this red wine from Somontano suggest a note of juicy red fruit and flowers over a mineral background with a distinctively metallic remembrance, typical of the variety. Oak is very well integrated and it only shows in some subtle hints of vanilla, toast and cocoa
Fresh and light-bodied. On the palate, Sers Singular Fuerza 17 carries some mineral notes, an enchanting bouquet of flowers and, again, some touches of cocoa and vanilla. Texture is smooth, with well-rounded tannins and a delicate, yet tense acidity. This red wine by Bodega Sers has a long finish and lingering, spicy aftertaste.
