This interesting Spanish red wine is produced in the northern region of Somontano, which belongs to the province of Aragón.
Produced by Bodegas Sers, the grapes were vinified in stainless steel tanks.
After that, this red wine from Somontano was aged for 7 months in American oak barrels, and for a further 12 months in the bottle before its commercial release.
Decant Serts Temple Merlot Syrah 2016 some time before drinking.
6,374 bottles produced.
The wine Sers Temple Merlot Syrah has an intense cherry colour with a garnet rim.
This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Merlot is rather intense. Juicy aromas of plums and blackberries, enlivened by notes of spices and aromas of vanilla, liquorice, balsam and menthol.
Meaty and well-structured, this red wine from Bodegas Sers has a smooth texture and a refreshing acidity. Ripe black fruit, notes of toast and undergrowth and remembrances of sweet spices. Polished tannins and long, delicately bitter finish.
