Product Description

Ses Nines Selecció 07/9 is the flagship wine of the Celler Tianna Negre winery.

This red wine from Majorca was first produced in 2007. Depending on the characteristics of each vintage, its composition has varied slightly from one year to the other.

The 2015 vintage is made from a blend of  Manto Negro, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Callet and a touch of Merlot.

Manually harvested and selected both in the vineyard and in the cellar, the grapes were macerated prior to fermentation for 5 days.

Alcoholic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks with periodic pump-overs. Once finished, the wine was left in contact with its lees for 15 days.

Then Ses Nines Selecció 07/9 2015, from Binissalem Mallorca, was aged for 10 months in French and Central European oak barrels.

Finally, the wine was aged for a further 6 months in the cellar.

Drink now until 2025.

Additional Information
Additional Information

Ses Nines Selecció 07/9 has a dense, bright, high crimson-coloured robe with a violet rim.

This red wine from Binissalem-Mallorca is very rich on the nose. Liquor-infused fruit and balsam, along with liquorice, roasted coffee, bitter chocolate, olives, tapenade, aromatic herbs and flowers.

Big and muscular, but not flaccid. This red wine by Celler Tianna Negre has a great balance between tannins, acidity and fruit. Prominent notes of liquor-infused fruit, roasted coffee, toast and Havanna cigars. Long, spicy finish.

Our personal opinion

Ses Nines Selecció 07/9 2015 is a little-known Mediterranean gem from the magic island of Mallorca.
