Manually harvested, the grapes were refrigerated and then pressed. After that, this brut reserva sparkling wine was fermented on its lees in stainless steel tanks and new French oak barrels. In both cases, the lees were stirred on a weekly basis.
Following the traditional method, secondary fermentation of this Blanc de Noirs took place in the bottle. Finally, Siós Brut Reserva Blanc de Noirs 2016 was aged for 24 months in the bottle prior to being disgorged.
Only 4,000 bottles produced.
The sparkling wine Siós Brut Reserva Blanc de Noirs has a clean, bright straw yellow colour with some steely tinges.
Intense, complex and ever-evolving, this blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay suggests subtle aromas of pastry, yeasts, butter and ripe strawberries, along with some herbal notions, and aromas of pomelo rind, dry fruit, smoke and white flowers.
Creamy and pleasant. this sparkling wine from Costers del Sió has a well-balanced acidity, some tiny, caressing bubbles, and a lush texture. Wild berries, rose petals, citrus, English custard and dry fruit. Crisp, long, refreshing finish. Very well crafted.

A substantial sparkling wine, Siós Brut Reserva Blanc de Noirs 2016 has enough complexity to successfully accompany a multi-course meal.
