Red Wine Siós Cau del Gat 2018
Organic red wine from Costers del Segre. Blend of Grenache, Tempranillo and Syrah aged for 9 months in French oak barrels and for 6 months in the bottle.

A blend of Grenache, Tempranillo and Syrah, the grapes were picked by hand and selected on arriving at the cellar. Each grape variety, and each individual plot of grapes, were separately vinified. They were cold-macerated, fermented in stainless steel tanks under controlled temperature and macerated again for 2 weeks.
After that, Siós Cau del Gat 2018 was transferred into 300-litre French oak barrels and aged for 9 months before bottling. Finally, this red wine from Costers del Segre was aged for a further 6 months before hitting the market.
Aerate this Crianza red wine 20 minutes before drinking. Pair with meat dishes or with a good cheese platter.
The red wine Siós Cau del Gat is red ruby, with some violet tinges.
Wild berries, with some hints of rosemary and flowers. This blend of Grenache, Tempranillo and Syrah has a subtle balsamic background, with a note of Mediterranean garrigue. Wood is well integrated.
Gentle and smooth, this wine from Costers del Sió has a nice acidity and some yummy tannins. Nuanced and moreish, with a long finish reminiscent of red berries and underbrush.
