Taittinger Brut Millésimé 2008
Availability: In stock
This high-end Champagne is produced only in exceptional vintages.
Consequently, and contrary to the usual practice in the region, it is a single vintage Champagne.
The Chardonnay grapes come from Grand Cru vineyards located in Côte des Blancs.
The Pinot Noir comes from Premier Cru vines located in the mountains of Reims and the Marne valley.
Taittinger Brut Millesimé 2008 was traditionally vinified and aged for a minimum of 5 years in the cellar.
Drink until 2025.
Straw yellow colour with some golden tinges.
Delicate, enticing aromas of peach, shaddock and apple, alongside remembrances of red berries, tea leaves, menthol, pastry and dry fruit.
Lively and palate-caressing, with a remarkable sophistication and a great finesse. Quince jelly, English custard, aromatic herbs, citrus, balsam, kirsch and garrigue. Long, linear, sexy finish.
|Our personal opinion||
Versatile, elegant and fresh, Taittinger Brut Millesimé 2008 is a very good Champagne with some ageing potential.
