This varietal Tinta de Toro is made from young, 15-year-old vines planted on limestone and rocky soils at an altitude of 800 metres. The plants are farmed following the guidelines of organic agriculture.
After a manual harvest, the grapes were cold-macerated and fermented in stainless steel tanks.
Then half of the wine Terra d'Uro La Enfermera 2020 was aged in French and American oak barrels for 3 months.

Expressive and intense, this varietal Tinta de Toro carries aromas of ripe black fruit, notes of spices and liquorice, a hint of toast and remembrances of aromatic herbs.
This wine from Hacienda Terra d'Uro is juicy and meaty. Plums, blackberries and some spicy remembrances. Well-balanced, with a fresh acidity, some ripe tannins and a medium, pleasant finish.
